As much as we love to see them together, going for lunch dates or indulging in subtle social media PDA, a source close to the couple revealed that things aren’t working out between them. There are chances that the reports are false, as Alia sort of confirmed that they will be seen together in Aashiqui 3 very soon.

Sid, who is currently busy promoting A Gentleman with Jacqueline Fernandez was asked about the break up buzz surrounding his relationship. He reportedly said:

Alia and I break up? For what? Breaking tables and chairs.

Um hmm. Guess we’ll never be able to break through this answer, just like their secret relationship. But hey, this does prove that there is no break up, right?!

Now now, one can only imagine the kind of fun this group must have had while on that tour! A bunch of fun, good-looking, successful people get together and anybody would love to be a fly on the wall. The last episode of Neha Dhupia‘s podcast, #NoFilterNeha had Parineeti spilling some secrets about the famous Dream Team tour.

Pari went to the tour as teetotaller, but came back with a special memory – her first drink. Now we all cherish that particular memory, don’t we?! She recalled the entire incident to Neha and oh boy, it sounds so much fun! Read on:

It was the end of Dream Team and Alia and Aditya and Varun and me, everybody was partying. Sid and Katrina had already left. So, four of us we went to this club and everybody was like today Pari has to drink and I’m like no guys, I don’t drink alcohol so it’s not going to happen. This is like 10 months ago. They were like no, no, you have to drink. A couple of my other friends and Alia and Aditya and everybody they all said okay, we’re all going to do jäger bombs and they made one jäger bomb for me and I said okay cool, I’ll have it. I hate the taste of it, I hate the smell but I’ll do it and I had it and 15 mins later they were like – anything?! I was like no, nothing, I’m fine. Like, see, there’s no point of alcohol in life and lalala. And they were like you gotta do another one and they gave me a second one. Neha, I have danced till 6 a.m. the next day, I have gone down to the lobby and hugged everyone. I’ve given so much love and the next day I’ve woken up like WOW, that was so much fun! I want to do this again. And there started my alcohol lifestyle.

I think Parineeti’s best quality is that fact that she is so relatable! Haven’t we all done that at some point in our lives – got sloshed and gave ourselves a mad crazy night?!

What’s the one word that comes to your mind when you think of Esha Gupta? Sexy! This girl is insanely beautiful and a lot of people think she looks a lot like Angelina Jolie. When I met her recently, I asked her about it and she said that she takes that as a compliment but hates it when they end up comparing the two or call her a copycat. Fair! Esha has been breaking the Internet with some super hot photos of herself where she posed topless and in lingerie to promote a new lingerie line of hers… and it seems she ended up receiving a lot of hate comments for the same. Trolls on Instagram were quick to slut shame her – and it got so annoying – that she finally decided to block comments on her photos.

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Esha was asked about this and she had the most epic response!

The women, who wrote that negative stuff had a problem because they don’t have the confidence which I have and the men had issues because their manhood was shaken as they saw an Indian girl being bold. But that didn’t trouble me because it showed who they are than who I am. The only thing that troubled me was when they said I wasn’t an Indian, that ‘How come an Indian girl does this?’ I wanted to say that I am much more Indian than anyone else because my father at least served the nation, what did your father do? And at that time, I told myself to calm down. That was the only thing that bothered me.

She further added,

But then there was a whole section which went all out and wrote me fan emails. They said that it was great that I didn’t reply in a negative manner. Then I went and posted more pictures and even wrote under that, ‘Savage.’ I am looking beautiful. I love the pictures and I am going to post them. That’s it!

You go, girl! More power to you! It’s pathetic how we equate Indian-ness with behaving a certain way or looking a  certain way. About time we moved away from these farcical standards, don’t you think?

Karan Johar has been embroiled in a bunch of controversies in the past but the one he will forever be remembered for – is the nepotism controversy! You know by now that it all started on his show Koffee With Karan when Kangana Ranaut accused him of it and it has been months since the episode aired, but all the news around it doesn’t seem to end. Unfortunately for him, he passed a bunch of unpleasant remarks at the recently held IIFA Awards too, which brought him a lot of flak!

Karan was in Melbourne last week for the Indian International Film Festival and he was of course asked about his take on the issue and all the brouhaha surrounding it. Guess what he said?

And then, he introduced us all to a new word – NEPOSPAMS!

Because anything I say for or against, is going to be held against me and I’m not about to be trolled all over again. I’ve made my mistakes of stretching this issue and talking about it, I’ve already apologised, I’ve expressed my regrets. And now I’m in a condition of nepospasm. I get a convulsion immediately. It’s called nepospasm – fear of the word nepotism.

Like most of his films, Sanjay Leela Bhansali apparently had Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in mind when he scripted his upcoming magnum opus Padmavati. In a case similar to Bajirao Mastani, the director couldn’t go through this idea because the actors parted ways. According to Rajeev Masand‘s column in Open Magazine, before Padmavati had Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starring in it, Sanjay reached out to Salman and Aishwarya for the film even after their break-up.

If you think the actors said no right away, here’s the big twist. As per the article, Aishwarya reportedly said she would be ready to work with her former boyfriend Salman only if he played Alauddin Khilji, the antagonist of the film. This way, both of them would have no scenes together.

It was Salman Khan who apparently refused this condition. A source revealed that while the superstar was happy to make the film, it had to be a love story. Salman was keen to recreate the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he wasn’t too pleased with doing a movie where he wouldn’t be working with Aishwarya.

Sanjay is now making the movie with Deepika as Padmavati and her real life boyfriend Ranveer playing Alauddin Khilji. Shahid will be playing Deepika’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

Sara Ali Khan has started prepping for her Bollywood debut, Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Contrary to many reports, her mom Amrita Singh does not interfere in her career.

There were reports that Amrita allegedly did not want Sushant as Sara’s co-star as his last film Raabta flopped at the Box Office. The producer of Kedarnath, Prerna Arora rubbished such reports and told PTI:

No, it is incorrect news. Amrita does not interfere in Sara’s career. Sara is an independent girl. As a mother, she definitely supports Sara, she is morally supporting her.

Further, Prerna also said that she does not feel the pressure surrounding Sara’s Bollywood launch:

There is no pressure to launch Sara as as she is a very promising girl. But with her there is definitely a responsibility as I am launching her in the industry.

Falguni Pathak, whose indie-pop songs make it to every nostalgic music playlist about the rise of non-Bollywood music in India, is now usually spotted only during Navratri. Her sudden absence from mainstream media has provided fodder for many memes and jokes on social media, especially Twitter.

Anyway, as you can see Navratri is approaching and so is Fagluni, so we’re sure her fans must be over the moon. According to a report on DNA, the singer will be performing at a high-scale event in Borivali, Mumbai and she’s being paid a very neat amount for the same.

The article says Falguni is being paid Rs 1.75 crore plus 18% GST for the nine-day festival which will begin on September 21. The total amount including tax is around Rs 2.08 crore, which means she will make Rs 19.44 lac every night.

A while ago, someone put up a video of a child studying math with her mother. The kid seemed rather tortured because of her mom’s behaviour and even complained of headache. But the mother went on to hit the little girl while trying to teach her. Cricketer Virat Kohli and several others shared the video expressing their anguish and speaking up against violence against children.

The fact that the pain and anger of the child is ignored and ones own ego to make the child learn is so massive that compassion has totally gone out of the window. This is shocking and saddening to another dimension. A child can never learn if intimidated. This is hurtful.

When Hindustan Times asked Sharib about his sister’s merciless behavior with her kid, he defended her and said:

“Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don’t know about us. Hamare bachche ke bare mein humein pata hai naah ki hamara bacha kaisa hai! Uska nature hai waisa… Agle hi pal woh khelne chali jaati hai. He also added:

“In every house, there are different kinds of children. Ours is a very stubborn child but is extremely dear to us. Jab baaki logon ko bura lag raha hai toh wo to maa hai. Ek maa ki mamta hai, judgement nahi karsakte hain. Jisne usko 9 mahine kokh mein rakha hai.”

Looks like Sushant Singh Rajput had a good time on Saturday night. According to a Mid-Day report, some of Mumbai’s famous people partied at a nightclub of a five-star hotel downtown. Sources say that the party picked up only after midnight when gorgeous models got in and let their hair down. But the star of the night was undoubtedly Sushant. The actor seemed to be in high-spirits and was spotted dancing on his table, while his bodyguards surrounded him, keeping excited fans at bay.

Dino Morea, Esha Gupta, Yash and Avanti Birla were also present at the party. After rocking it out in the club, Sushant and his friends continued to party in the presidential suite of the same hotel. Good times!
